Asilla launches "Flow Map," a new asilla BIZ feature that visualizes pedestrian flow across an entire floor

Asilla Inc. (Headquarters: Machida, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Go Onoue), guided by its vision of "a safe and comfortable world through the power of technology," announces that it will release "Flow Map," a new feature of its pedestrian flow data platform "asilla BIZ," as an open beta version starting in August 2026.

"asilla BIZ" has been highly praised for its convenience, as it utilizes existing security cameras without requiring dedicated sensors, and has been implemented in more than 50 facilities to date. In March 2026, the Attribute Analysis and Custom Report features moved to their official versions, and the platform has since seen steadily growing use in data-driven facility operations, including identifying visitor gender and age groups and generating reports through automated daily and monthly aggregation.

Now, "Flow Map" has been added to "asilla BIZ." Using existing security cameras, the feature allows operators to see at a glance, on a single screen, where people are gathering across an entire floor.

Key features of Flow Map

• Color-coded visualization of congestion across an entire floor: Inbound headcounts for all lines configured within the target map are displayed in relative color, making it intuitive to grasp which areas are crowded.
• Hourly changes viewable via slider: By operating the one-hour time slider, users can follow the continuous shift in pedestrian movement from opening to closing.
• Customizable to match reporting formats: The visibility and placement of data boxes for each measurement point can be configured freely, allowing users to build a screen that matches existing reporting formats alongside entry, exit, and occupancy counts.

With this release of "Flow Map," "asilla BIZ" can now be used in scenarios such as the following:

• Planning cleaning robot patrol routes and adjusting cleaning frequency to avoid congested times and areas
• Concentrating security guards and guidance staff in areas and time slots prone to congestion
• Reviewing security plans and traffic flow measures based on trends on holidays and event days
• Making proposals to tenants and planning decisions for event spaces based on foot traffic data by zone

Building on its strength of enabling flexible, facility-wide analysis while leveraging existing equipment, "asilla BIZ" supports smarter and faster decision-making for facility operators.

"Flow Map" is offered as an open beta version to customers with an active "asilla BIZ" contract.
