Session Overview

Title: How AI Is Changing the Future of the Security Industry
Date & time: Wednesday, October 21, 2026, 15:00–15:30 JST
Speaker: Satoshi Matsuda, Account Executive, Solution Sales Department, Product Business Division, Asilla, Inc.

The session will outline the challenges facing the security industry, including labor shortages, low retention rates, and an aging workforce, and explain the role AI can play within broader DX initiatives.

It will also present case studies of security companies that have used AI to build security operations with limited personnel and to reduce the burden on security guards. Positioning AI not as a replacement for people but as a means of supporting guards' judgment and response, the session will share key points for effective AI utilization from both frontline and management perspectives.

Going forward, Asilla will continue working with security companies to explore sustainable approaches to security in which people and technology share roles to keep people safe.

About "AI Security asilla"

AI Security asilla uses AI to analyze existing security camera footage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, instantly detecting abnormal behaviors such as violence, falls, and intrusions, as well as behaviors requiring attention such as loitering, crowding, and signs of poor health. Amid a worsening shortage of security personnel, it captures anomalies that are easily missed through human monitoring and immediately notifies security guards and managers. Because it works with existing cameras, no additional equipment investment is required, making it a next-generation security solution that maintains a high level of safety even with limited staff.
