(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Goro Miyamae; hereinafter "AEON Delight"), with the aim of advancing facility management operations and improving productivity.
This initiative builds on the partnership established since AEON Delight's adoption decision in July 2024, bringing to fruition the "new facility management model integrating people and technology" that both companies have pursued. Operations are now underway to address real-world challenges at facility sites.
The facility management industry currently faces an unavoidable challenge of labor shortages, making it a critical management issue to maintain high safety standards and improve service quality with limited personnel.
AEON Delight is pursuing a new business model that integrates "human expertise" with "technology" as it aims to transform into a sustainable business model. As part of this effort, the company is working to build a next-generation facility management framework that combines existing security camera assets with Asilla's behavior recognition AI, achieving both safe and comfortable facility environments and improved on-site operational productivity.
Since the adoption decision in July 2024, the companies have accumulated on-site verification results, and have now commenced full-scale verification through real-world operations at major facilities nationwide.
This initiative has been progressively deployed at large-scale facilities managed by AEON Delight nationwide since September 2025.
Through this real-world operational verification, the companies are continuously implementing initiatives toward building a next-generation facility operation model using "AI Security asilla" and "asilla BIZ."
AI Security asilla provides "comprehensive 24/7/365 monitoring" that instantly detects and notifies anomalies that are easily missed by manual visual surveillance.
The system has successfully achieved early detection of high-urgency incidents, including dangerous behavior by children near escalators, falls by elderly individuals, skateboard intrusion and loitering in exterior areas, and suspicious entry before store opening hours. The effectiveness of rapid response deployment continues to be accumulated and verified.
Based on these verification results, the companies continue to develop a new security operation framework that partially replaces patrol and standing guard duties with AI systems.
Using "asilla BIZ," the companies are visualizing pedestrian flow within facilities and continuing to analyze detailed visitor trend data by day of week, time slot, and area. Based on this data, the companies are developing strategies for data-driven store operations and operational efficiency, including optimizing the operating timing of cleaning robots and security robots deployed within the project.
Building on this real-world operational verification, from FY2026 onward, the companies will deepen consideration of broader utilization, including expansion to additional facilities and increasing the number of cameras.
