Asilla, Inc. (Headquarters: Machida City, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Go Onoue; hereinafter "Asilla"), which champions the vision of "Creating a safe and comfortable world through the power of technology," has begun full-scale operation of automated alerts that link its AI security system "AI Security asilla" (hereinafter "asilla") with IP speakers at "HEP FIVE," the mixed-use commercial complex in Osaka Umeda known for its landmark red Ferris wheel.
Having moved the previously trial-stage speaker integration into live operation, Asilla will further accelerate the digital transformation (DX) of security operations.

As one of the landmarks of Osaka Umeda, "HEP FIVE" is a commercial facility that attracts a large number of visitors, particularly young people, and ensuring their safety is a critical operational priority. In particular, measures against entry into restricted areas, as well as the prevention of accidental entry caused by differing business hours on each floor, have required meticulous management from the standpoint of preventing accidents and incidents before they occur.
Previously, security staff would rush from the disaster prevention center after confirming an event, but because the facility is vast, it took time to reach the site, making a rapid response difficult, while the burden of traveling back and forth also posed a significant challenge for security personnel.
Against this backdrop, Asilla and Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp. have worked on a proof of concept that links "AI Security asilla" with speakers at multiple locations within the facility, aiming to enhance the level of security. Through this initiative, automated audio enables an immediate response the instant an anomaly occurs, deterring or resolving the progression of an incident through voice guidance, eliminating the gap in time until security staff arrive, and enabling flexible operation.
As the verification confirmed that this automated alerting serves as a highly effective deterrent, the company has now decided to officially begin its adoption. Through this initiative together with Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp., Asilla aims to achieve both a reduction in the burden on security staff and a highly responsive, efficient security operation.

In this adoption, asilla's behavior detection is linked with speakers in specific areas requiring particular attention.
It normally takes security staff approximately 5 minutes to rush from the disaster prevention center on the 1st floor to the relevant location by elevator. By utilizing this system, asilla issues the first alert at the moment of detection on the staff's behalf, reducing the risk of accidents and shortening the time until an alert is issued by approximately 5 minutes.
Based on its capital and business alliance with Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp., Asilla will make the fullest use of its track record at "HANKYU NISHINOMIYA GARDENS" and "HEP FIVE" to strongly promote the expansion of adoption to other facilities operated by the company. Going forward, Asilla will further deepen this partnership and, by establishing a standard for "security DX" in large-scale facilities, contribute to creating safe and secure environments in all kinds of spaces.

"AI Security asilla" is a system in which AI analyzes footage from existing security cameras 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, instantly detecting abnormal behaviors such as violence, falls, and intrusion, as well as behaviors requiring attention such as wandering, crowding, and signs of poor physical condition.
Amid an increasingly serious shortage of security personnel, it captures anomalies that are easily overlooked by human monitoring and immediately notifies security staff and administrators. Because existing cameras can be used as-is, no capital investment is required, making it a next-generation security solution that maintains a high level of safety even with limited staff.
