Machida City, Tokyo (Mayor: Joichi Ishizaka) and Asilla Inc. (Headquarters: Machida, Tokyo; CEO & COO: Takeshi Onoue) announced at a press conference held on October 27 at Machida City Hall that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) dated October 1, aimed at leveraging Asilla's products and technology for community operations to enhance citizen safety and address local challenges, while pursuing mutual development.
The MOU was concluded after Asilla, which is based at the Machida New Industry Creation Center (an incubation facility operated by Machida City), received consecutive certifications under the Machida City Trial Order Certification Program for two years. The agreement aims to resolve local challenges and revitalize the city through mutual cooperation.
As the first initiative under this partnership, a proof-of-concept deployment of AI Security asilla and asilla BIZ began on October 1 at Machida Terminal Plaza. This deployment was realized through the cooperation of Tokyu Corporation, which has a capital and business alliance with Asilla, and Xymax Group. Tokyu Corporation oversees the overall management of the facility, while Xymax handles on-site facility management.

Eiichiro Yamamoto, General Manager, Future Design Lab, Tokyu Corporation: In March 2024, Tokyu concluded a capital and business alliance with Asilla, advancing collaboration in both railway and facility management domains. In September 2025, we began a new proof-of-concept at a large-scale mixed-use property in the Shibuya area together with Tokyu Security, aiming to enhance security operations. We are delighted that AI Security asilla and asilla BIZ are being deployed at Machida Terminal Plaza, where Tokyu serves as the overall building manager.
