Through this program, asilla announces that it will collaborate with Panasonic EW's "Manufacturing & Workplace Innovation Division" to develop and commercialize a "Factory Well-Being and Advanced Safety" solution leveraging behavior analysis technology.

About the Panasonic EW Accelerator Program "Panasonic Accelerator by Electric Works Company"

"Panasonic Accelerator by Electric Works Company" is a program jointly organized by Panasonic EW and ReGACY Innovation Group Inc.

The program aims to co-create with startups possessing outstanding advanced technologies and expertise, accelerating new business creation through the transformation of "Living Infrastructure."

For FY2025, the program focused on two key themes: "Well-being" and "Energy management." In January 2026, asilla was selected as one of five startups to participate, with its adopted theme of "Improving factory productivity through behavior analysis technology × Well-being-oriented space design."

At the Demo Day held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Panasonic Tokyo Shiodome Building, asilla and Panasonic EW's "Manufacturing Innovation Division" delivered a joint presentation. With Panasonic EW executives serving as judges, the team presented a concrete business concept centered on the adopted theme of "behavior analysis technology" — one that visualizes unsafe behaviors and latent risks on the manufacturing floor while simultaneously improving worker Well-being and factory productivity.

The presentation demonstrated how the combination of asilla's "pose estimation technology" and the emerging "VLM (Vision-Language Model)" technology can contribute to preventing workplace accidents and fostering a culture of safety.

Future Outlook: Accelerating Social Implementation of "Advanced Safety" Through Behavior Recognition AI

Scenes from the Demo Day

Following the Demo Day presentation, asilla and Panasonic EW will accelerate the following joint development and social implementation initiatives:

  • Advanced Safety Through Visualization of Latent Risks:AI-powered detection of "unsafe behaviors (inattention, rule violations, etc.)" that conventional facility-based measures alone could not prevent. Signs of potential accidents — such as unsteady movements and physically strained postures — will be converted into data, enabling evidence-based workplace improvements.
  • Achieving Both Well-Being and Productivity:Quantitative assessment of workers' physical strain and safety based on "human behavior data." A new model will be developed to enhance worker engagement, ultimately leading to improvements in first-pass yield and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
  • Product Development and Deployment:Both parties have agreed to begin full-scale development of the envisioned product starting April 2026. Beginning with deployment and validation at Panasonic's domestic factories, the long-term goal is to sell the product to various manufacturing companies, contributing to the advancement of Well-being across the entire manufacturing industry.
