In recent years, as awareness of safety and security has increased, many large commercial facilities and office buildings have installed numerous surveillance cameras as part of their security measures. At the same time, there is a growing need for systems that can instantly identify and notify abnormal situations from vast amounts of video footage in order to help prevent crimes through prompt responses by security personnel and to accelerate emergency and medical assistance.
Mori Building and Asilla have conducted a demonstration experiment at Mori Tower in Roppongi Hills with the aim of promoting security DX, including the early detection of incidents and accidents, rapid response, and the identification of potential risk areas.
Based on the results of these initiatives, it was determined that the system sufficiently met the initial objectives, leading to the full-scale deployment of asilla.
Specifically, asilla is being utilized to enhance the safety of the facility in the following ways:

Mori Tower, completed in 2003, is the main tower of Roppongi Hills, a cultural urban complex in Tokyo. Standing 238 meters tall with 54 floors above ground, it is one of Tokyo’s most iconic landmarks.
From the 8th to the 48th floors, the tower features office spaces with floor plates of approximately 4,500 square meters, among the largest in Japan. The upper levels house facilities that symbolize Mori Building’s concept of a “Cultural Heart of the City,” including the Mori Art Museum, the observation deck Tokyo City View, and the Roppongi Hills Club.
As a multifunctional high-rise tower with advanced facilities, Mori Tower serves as the central hub of the Roppongi Hills complex.
