Asilla, Inc. (Headquarters: Machida, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Go Onoue; hereinafter "Asilla"), which pursues the vision of "A safe and comfortable world through the power of technology," announces that its people-flow data platform "asilla BIZ" has been officially deployed at JIYUGAOKA MUSE SQUARE, a new mixed-use commercial complex in front of Jiyugaoka Station in Tokyo, with operations starting alongside the facility's opening on September 17, 2026.

Background

In commercial facility management, accurately understanding visitor behavior and applying those insights to tenant recruitment, promotional initiatives, and day-to-day operations has become an important factor in enhancing the value of a property.

At JIYUGAOKA MUSE SQUARE, the approach to data-driven facility operations was examined from the construction phase, prior to opening. As part of this, specific applications of "asilla BIZ" were studied together with Asilla from an early stage before completion.

Conventionally, obtaining this kind of data required installing dedicated measurement devices. "asilla BIZ" visualizes people flow using existing security cameras. The ease of deployment, which requires no equipment purchase or construction work, along with its measurement accuracy, led to the decision to adopt the platform.

The facility is a new mixed-use commercial complex that opened on September 17, 2026, directly in front of Jiyugaoka Station on the Tokyu Toyoko and Oimachi Lines. As it comprises commercial areas as well as offices and residences, it is expected to attract a wide range of visitors. In light of these characteristics, the facility will visualize visitor movement within the building, apply the findings to ongoing operational improvements, and build an operational foundation grounded in data.

How "asilla BIZ" is used at JIYUGAOKA MUSE SQUARE

At JIYUGAOKA MUSE SQUARE, the solution is applied in the following ways to establish a foundation for data-driven facility operations.

  • Quantitative measurement of visitor numbers: Foot traffic at the facility entrances is measured to visualize daily and monthly visitor trends. This establishes a framework for accumulating and sharing the level of activity at the facility as objective figures.
  • Understanding circulation patterns within the facility: Foot traffic is measured by floor and by area to visualize how visitors move through the building. The data collected is planned for use as reference material when evaluating internal circulation and floor composition, and when considering initiatives to improve visitor satisfaction.
  • Preparation for verifying the effect of initiatives: By recording changes in people flow during events and similar occasions, the data will serve as an analytical foundation for optimizing future sales promotions and facility operations.

Going forward, the accumulated data will be used to examine initiatives aimed at improving visitor satisfaction and to verify their effects. Asilla will continue to support the advancement of facility operations through "asilla BIZ."

About "asilla BIZ"

"asilla BIZ" is a platform that uses AI to analyze footage from existing security cameras and visualize people-flow data such as foot traffic, congestion levels, and the gender and age group of visitors within a facility. By quantifying usage patterns that were previously difficult to observe, it supports the optimization of security staffing, cleaning, and customer attraction initiatives. Because existing cameras can be used as they are, no dedicated sensors are required, making it a next-generation data solution that enhances the value of a space at low cost.
