Asilla, Inc. (Headquarters: Machida-shi, Tokyo; CEO: Go Onoue; hereinafter "Asilla"), guided by its vision "Toward a safe and comfortable world through the power of technology," announces the official deployment this spring of its AI security system "AI Security asilla" at KONOHA MALL HASHIMOTO, a commercial facility comprehensively managed by Sun-Life Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hakata-ku, Fukuoka; President: Teppei Kawasaki; hereinafter "Sun-Life").

Background of the Deployment

As security personnel shortages become increasingly severe, interest in advancing security through AI is growing as a means to maintain high safety standards even with limited personnel.

In particular, interest in AI security solutions that can enhance facility safety while leveraging existing camera infrastructure as-is is spreading across industries and facility sizes.

In response to this growing need, Sun-Life focused on AI video analysis technology to achieve both safety and a comfortable environment at KONOHA MALL HASHIMOTO, which is used daily by a wide range of visitors including families and senior residents.

After evaluation, "AI Security asilla" was selected for official deployment based on its ability to detect anomalies easily missed by human monitoring, and its low equipment-investment footprint for deployment.

Deployment Overview

This initiative officially deploys the AI security system "AI Security asilla" at KONOHA MALL HASHIMOTO, which Sun-Life comprehensively manages.

Full-scale operation began in March 2026, strengthening the overall safety management framework of the facility.

Key Initiatives

1. Advanced Facility Monitoring Through AI Technology

"AI Security asilla" analyzes in-facility security camera footage in real time using AI.

By detecting nuisance behaviors such as fights and violent acts, as well as intrusions into off-limits areas or after closing hours, and immediately notifying security personnel, the system establishes a monitoring framework that enhances in-facility safety.

2. Creating a Safe Environment Through Visualization of Crowding

The system grasps in-facility crowding conditions in real time and promotes appropriate guidance responses.

This maintains an environment where visitors can spend their time with peace of mind, while also being used for optimizing security deployment.

3. Enhanced Visitor Peace of Mind Through Watch-Over Features

AI detects signs of health distress such as falls and unsteady movement, supporting early response to those who need assistance. The deployment aims to create a facility environment where a wide range of visitors, including families and senior residents, can spend their time with peace of mind.

Going forward, Sun-Life and Asilla will continue to collaborate, expanding the scope of AI video analysis applications and advancing contributions to safety, security, and comfortable environments at KONOHA MALL HASHIMOTO.
