Asilla, Inc. (Headquarters: Machida, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Go Onoue; hereinafter “Asilla”), which pursues the vision of “creating a safe and comfortable world through the power of technology,” today announced that it has begun operating its AI security system “AI Security asilla” (hereinafter “asilla”) in conjunction with in-facility speakers at SENCHU PAL, a facility operated and managed by a group company of XYMAX Group Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hideo Karashima; hereinafter “XYMAX Group”). Security operations at the facility are handled by MAX Security Service Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Naoki Shirakawa; hereinafter “MAX Security Service”), a group company of XYMAX Group.

SENCHU PAL is directly connected to Senri-Chuo Station on the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Railway. Situated between the Osaka Chuo Loop Line and National Route 423, with few detour routes nearby, its interior walkways serve not only station users and shoppers but also function as a daily thoroughfare for the surrounding community. At the same time, a large number of bicycles are ridden through the facility, and careful attention has been required to prevent collisions with pedestrians before they occur.
Since May 2025, the facility has used the AI security system “AI Security asilla” to detect and register instances of bicycles being ridden inside. However, because it takes time for security personnel to reach the scene, issuing an on-the-spot warning to a moving bicycle was difficult, and the effect of the response remained limited.
Against this background, Asilla, XYMAX Group and MAX Security Service — the three companies that concluded a business alliance agreement in December 2024 — developed an operational scheme that links asilla’s bicycle detection with in-facility speakers to issue warnings. Because an automated voice announcement can respond immediately at the moment a bicycle enters the facility, this initiative makes it possible to deter riding through audio, eliminate the gap in coverage until security personnel arrive, and reduce the burden placed on security personnel by on-site response.

In this deployment, asilla’s bicycle detection is linked with speakers in designated areas of the facility.
By having asilla issue the first warning at the same moment it detects a bicycle, the system eliminates the gap in coverage before security personnel arrive on site and reduces the risk of collisions with pedestrians. Connecting detection, warning, and situational awareness into a single flow is expected to deliver the following benefits.
Since the start of this operation, bicycle riding inside the facility has shown a downward trend, and the initiative is beginning to produce results. By automating the process from detection to warning, the facility has achieved a highly immediate response that does not rely solely on security personnel arriving in person.
Going forward, Asilla, XYMAX Group and MAX Security Service will continue to advance the creation of next-generation security operations that combine AI with human staff, delivering safety and peace of mind to everyone who uses the facility.

SENCHU PAL is a shopping mall directly connected to Senri-Chuo Station on the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Railway in Toyonaka, Osaka. Since opening in 1970, it has supported daily life in the community as one of the largest commercial facilities in Senri New Town, home to approximately 160 specialty stores.

AI Security asilla analyzes footage from existing security cameras 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, instantly detecting abnormal behavior such as violence, falls and intrusion, as well as behavior requiring attention such as loitering, crowding and signs of illness. As the shortage of security personnel grows more severe, it captures anomalies that are easily missed by human monitoring and notifies security staff and administrators immediately. Because it works with cameras already in place, no capital investment is required, making it a next-generation security solution that maintains a high level of safety even with limited personnel.
