Asilla Inc. (Headquarters: Machida, Tokyo; CEO & COO: Takeshi Onoue) and Toray Industries' group company Toray (Hong Kong) Limited (Headquarters: Hong Kong; Representative: Teruo Funahashi; collectively referred to as the "Toray Group") have launched a proof-of-concept (PoC) for a work analysis solution aimed at improving sewing operation efficiency and maintaining quality at the Toray Group's overseas sewing factories.

Since entering Thailand in 1963, the Toray Group has built a global operations framework across Southeast Asia, Europe, the Americas, South Korea, and China. All products manufactured at any location pursue the high quality standard of "Made in Toray."
Production activities at Toray (Hong Kong)'s sewing facilities require manufacturing instruction education that considers language and cultural differences. In recent years, shortened product lifecycles have made rapid improvement of worker proficiency urgent. There was also growing demand for reducing sewing time to improve production efficiency and alleviating workloads.
To address these challenges, the PoC utilizes Asilla's work analysis AI technology "WorkPose" to provide objective, quantitative data through video analysis of sewing operations, identifying efficiency variations among individual workers and enabling more efficient work systems.

The PoC installs cameras in the factory and uses Asilla's WorkPose AI technology to analyze sewing operations through three steps:
1. Digitizing sewing operations: Precisely analyzing and digitizing worker movements from factory video
2. Identifying variances from standard times: Quantitatively extracting differences between individual workers and standard operation times to identify improvement points
3. Contributing to productivity improvement: Enabling data-driven education and instruction to support reduced sewing time and increased production volume
Building on this PoC, Asilla will support the standardization and efficiency of the Toray Group's global production facilities by providing objective, data-driven instruction and education that transcends language and cultural barriers, while maintaining the "Made in Toray" quality standard.
